Unions of the past

Discussion of the “Unions’ social policy” taken place on August 24, 2003 within a political forum “Elections — 2003”, was mostly centered around well-sponsored parties, including Communist and LDPR parties, which were endlessly promising social justice through their representation, depriving other delegates an opportunity to participate. Finally some party representatives got fed up with this unfounded chatter. For instance, one “Russia’s Renaissance” representative implied, “All these State Duma parties have been occupying seats there for the past 12 years, first, they should repent before the nation for having done nothing all this time instead of endless chattering”.

This comment fairly applies to the party claiming its goal is to protect interests of the people, — the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, which promoted itself at the forum with a huge self- complacent slogan “Communist Party of the Russian Federation — is the party of the future”.

It is understood that the future will inevitably come, however, what kind of future it is depends on many factors. Thus, people supporting CPRF should ask themselves, “party of WHAT future is the Communist Party”, which is impossible to answer without a brief detour in history.

Generally it is known that there is some “cold” war going on, which according to Marxists from CPRF was lost by Russia. Leader of the Communist Party,

G.A. Zjuganov, constantly insists on this fact in his speeches.

War is a complex of measures aimed at taking over natural, energy and human resources of other countries. In order to accomplish this goal various methods could be utilized, which are generally grouped into two categories: “hot” war run through conventional means of arms, such as planes, the ships, tanks and “cold” war information war, conducted through introduction of such information into society of the country against which there is a war, that ensures to the aggressor attainment of all resources of this country. While conventional “hot” wars are won by those equipped by more advanced and more powerful ships, planes, rifles etc., to win a “cold” (information) war means to possess “more valuable” information. “Cold” war is, first of all, the war of ideologies.

CPRF — is the successor of an ideology of the CPSU (the Communist Party of the Soviet Union), which also could be understood according to its core principles and what it has achieved as the Capitulation Party of Socialism Self- destruction.

Marxism was the ideology of the CPSU. CPSU controlled all mass media (the main asset of manipulation in “cold” war), economy, and army, both state and public infrastructures. Yet all the technology and multi-mullion army of “ideological fighters” armed with the ideology of Marxism could not do anything to prevent their own party from collapsing not to mention the entire state. Communist party fell apart within three days on August 19-21st, 1991. Collapse of the CPSU entailed the subsequent Privatization and massive gangsters’ repartition of the national resources, pretentiously labeled by the “democratic” term of “reforms”, that caused numerous people impoverishment and near extinction.

Today CPRF armed with the same ideology of Marxism declares itself — “the party of the future”! While CPRF Marxists try to convince people that there is a bright future ahead they didn’t do anything for the past 12 years of the “democratic” Russia to even alleviate struggle for survival of the Russian people. Every time CPRF makes it through elections to the State Duma, it benefits oligarchs only, who continue to plunder the country and economy. As a result, its “electorate” continues to die out.

It would be naive to assume, however, that other parties including the ones regularly appearing before the State Duma election, and constantly changing their titles, will fulfill their promises to people. Leaders of those parties have had many chances to do it, but like Seleznev or Baburin, for example, didn’t go farther than populist slogans.

Numerous ad campaigns of these “left-right-center-monarchy-marxist-democratic” parties reveal dead-end prospects.

For example, “the Life Party” headed by the speaker of federal Assembly promotes itself through constant bashes, during which people say various toasts such as “for love”, “for a science” etc. Last one included a pregnant woman in it. That is, through such advertising “Life Party” imposes dangerous stereotype into the masses that it is impossible to live without alcohol, while alcohol is a destructive weapon among generalized means of manipulation in “cold” war tactics. The most known example of alcohol application as a weapon to take over another country was by Spanish conquistadors. Conquerors that have come from Europe to America were greatly outnumbered by Indians. Since it appeared impossible for them to fulfill their goal by means of conventional “hot” war, they used other methods: they turned trunks of their guns into devices to produce alcohol, which they then offered to Indians as a form of “cultural cooperation”. As a result, native Indians addicted to “fiery water” slowly faded leaving the land, rich in natural resources to conquerors. Doesn’t it ring a bell?

Not far from Mironov’s “Party of Death” comes “the People’s Party” headed by Raykov, who implements the motif of heroism in his promotional campaigns. The idea revolves around workers of various productive fields becoming “heroes”.

There is a wise saying on management stating, “good management differs from bad one by appearing invisible”, which directly relates to the theme of heroism. There is a need for heroism when management miscalculated something, and in order to prevent overall damage to the process, someone is compelled to endow himself or herself, in other words, someone is compelled to put heroic efforts. For instance, if managers of all levels in country competently organized process of cultivation and harvesting crops, the work process would have become a usual harvest season procedure instead of the endless heroic “fight for crop”. Thus, by invoking people to heroism, pseudo-populists party of Raykov directly declares that it proposes further poor management at the expense of people, who are offered to commit continuous acts of self-sacrifice for the sake of further parasitism of “elite”. Such heroism will be greatly appreciated by “the elite”, but there is no promise of adequate living conditions to people in return.

It is typical for all the “left-right-center-monarchy-marxist-democratic” parties to include the word “people’s” in their title. Wouldn’t it be fairer for them to admit that their definition of “people” includes only those “chosen-ones” of the “elite” and other parasites that become members in hopes to snatch a freebie of distributed privileges, which they don’t want to work for themselves?

All these groups are not capable of having a future, which makes them a rudiment of the past.

Thus, it was very appropriate that Chairman of the Conceptual Party “Edinenie”, Petrov, cited in his speech on a political forum “Elections-2003” M.E.Saltykov-Shchedrin’s words, “Muzhik (a peasant) is not afraid of internal policy because it is simply incomprehensible to him. No matter how abusive it gets, he will think that it is simply a divine blunder, like starvation or flooding, only this time blunder takes an embodiment of a flamboyant brat (an administrator — manager: our remark). Is it necessary for him (the peasant: our remark) to understand what is an internal policy? Opinions may vary greatly on this account; however, I believe and say straight, “Be warned, sirs! As soon as muzhik understands the essence of internal policy — c’est fini! (it is all over)”.

With an introduction of the Public Security Conception and Conceptual Party “Edinenie” to the people all these pseudo-parties will come to an end, “c’est fini!”.
